WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING LATELY?

  • East Bentleigh Primary School enjoyed a day learning about aboriginal culture and the wide range of uses for our wonderful Australian native plants. They toured the bush food gardens and Peppermint Ridge Farm. The students particularly enjoyed eating the delicious bush food morning tea! Mick Harding a local aboriginal artist shared his vast knowledge and then thrilled the students giving them lessons in boomerang throwing.
  • Food Technology students from Nagle College in Bairnsdale had a great time sampling the native foods and learning how to make more use of them in the hospitality industry.
  • Morwell Probus Club and the Retired Citizens Assoc. had an information filled day starting with a tour of the Cornucopia Living Heritage Centre and 'Cornucopia Australis Exhibition" before coming up to Peppermint Ridge for a lunch flavoured with our own native foods. They were then entertained by our local poet with recitals from the great bush poets such as Henry Lawson & Banjo Patterson.

Various firms have booked our venues to run meetings and events making use of our private facilities and delicious food. Peppermint Ridge and Cornucopia are available for hire for meetings and events and you can arrange your own group tour of both venues and enjoy our unique food.

Contact us for more information on our interesting range of group tours.
