The Living
Heritage Centre provides people
of all ages with the opportunity
to learn about the challenges we
face in developing a sustainable society.
Interpretative displays and a walking
trail explore our changing relationship
with the environment.
The Centre is located on the
site of the original Cornucopia
Folk Museum opened in 1956 and run
for more than by thirty five years
by Max Weatherhead. Many locals
remember the famous exhibits
like the two headed calf!
Tours can feature a visit
to the original blacksmith shop and
the extensive indigenous gardens.

Centre's potting and seedling
sheds (left), the blacksmith
